The United Way's Wayne County Fund distribution Committee is comprised of people who live and work in Wayne County. The committee meets annually to review grant applications from organizations providing direct services to Wayne County residents and awards monetary grants with funds raised during the prior year's United Way campaign. During the last ten years, the United Way has leveraged more than $1.4 million to make a real, lasting impact for the residents of Wayne County. This includes more than $700,000 in grants awarded to more than a dozen Wayne County organizations through this process.

- Wayne County Family Center: Home Visiting Add-On for Early Literacy Learning
