Energy Assistance

During the cold weather months, it is the responsibility of the entire community to help ensure the safety of those most in need. You can join in this effort by keeping an eye on your neighbors. Do you live by an elderly individual or someone who is physically challenged or chronically ill?  By periodically checking on your friends and neighbors, you can provide a great service to those in need and help to prevent a potentially life-threatening disaster.

Energy Assistance in Pennsylvania is provided primarily through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program most commonly referred to as LIHEAP. For the regular or "Cash" part of the program you can pick up an application at any County Assistance Office.
