The 2019 Wayne County Grant CYCle is now closed.
Since 2006, the United Way has built connections with business and community leaders, local government and other nonprofits to invest in the programs and services impacting people in Wayne County. During that time, nearly $650,000 has been distributed to more than a dozen organizations providing critical services to Wayne County residents.
Applicants must be non-profit, 501 (c) 3 health and human service organizations providing in-person, direct services in Wayne County. Funding may be requested for existing programs, new programs or initiatives, program expansion and capital items. Supplies that are an integral part of service delivery will also be considered. The grants available range from $500 to $4,000.
Please note than an organization which received funds in 2018 must fill out a Program Report form and submit it to the United Way, even if the organization is not applying for a grant in this funding cycle. The form can be downloaded here.
The monies were raised during the last United Way campaign by individuals and businesses who specifically wanted to support services for Wayne County residents. For more information, please contact Angela Bassani at (570) 343-1267 x222 or email her.
