United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike Counties Welcome Three New Staff Members

SCRANTON, PA (10-Mar-2020)

The United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike Counties welcome three new staff members to their front office as they gear up for their Centennial Celebratory Year.


 

Sue Youtz, Clarks Summit, was appointed Campaign Manager.  Youtz most recently served as Campaign Manager at United Way of Wyoming Valley and touts over six years of service to the non-profit here in NEPA.  Before beginning in the philanthropic field, she was formerly an Executive Sales/ Marketing Manager in the Hospitality Industry.  Her primary responsibility was establishing and maintaining corporate accounts.  Youtz is on the Advisory Committee for Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles, Chair of the CROP Hunger Walk for Abington Ecumenical Ministerium and Chair of Communications and Outreach at Countryside Community Church.

 


 

 

William Craven, Scranton, joined the United Way team for the position of Manager of Community Impact Funds. Craven is a graduate of the University of Scranton where he received a bachelor’s in Community Health Education. He is currently working towards his Masters in Public Administration at Marywood University.

 

 


Barry Snyder, Clarks Summit, joined the United Way in February as the Director of Community Outreach.  This is Snyder’s first position within the non-profit sector of NEPA, having previously held positions within the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre baseball franchise as the Sr. Director of Entertainment and Corporate Partnerships.  Snyder has done charity work through various organizations such as Allied Services’ Ryan’s Run, Vs. Cancer Foundation and multiple other organizations through the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
