NBT Bank Sponsors 24th Annual Nancy Jackson Memorial Day of Caring

NBT Bank recently presented a check for $7,000 to the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties as the presenting sponsors for the United Way’s 24th Annual Nancy Jackson Memorial Day of Caring. Slated for September 6, this annual organized day of service mobilizes hundreds of volunteers into United Way partner agencies and grant recipient organizations to provide much-needed assistance. Since Day of Caring was founded locally by Nancy Jackson in 1994, more than 11,500 volunteers have given in excess of 62,000 hours of service, and the value of the more than 1,000 projects they’ve completed is nearly $3 million.
