The
United Way's Wayne County Fund distribution Committee is comprised of
people who live and work in Wayne County. The committee
meets annually to review grant applications from organizations providing
direct services to Wayne County residents and awards monetary grants
with funds raised during the prior year's United way campaign. During
the last four years, nearly $150,000 in grants have been awarded to more
than a dozen Wayne County organizations through this process.
