Join the hottest team in town and be part of the action as
the Yankees' top minor league team takes the field for the 2009 season to
defend their Governor's Cup win!
The United Way's Home Run Team (HRT) began in 1990 as a unique
collaboration between area businesses, our local AAA baseball team and the
United Way. Participating HRT companies pledge to donate $25 to the United
Way for each homerun hit by a Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankee during the regular season.
The exclusive benefits of HRT membership include:
Children's Yankees Baseball Clinic
The children of employees from HRT sponsoring companies
spend the afternoon at PNC Field learning the finer points of hitting,
fielding and pitching from SWB Yankees' players in this hands-on clinic!
Party Box
Celebrations
This season HRT sponsors will be invited to
a members-only Party Box celebration at PNC Field in August,
highlighting by an onfield recognition ceremony.
SWB Yankees game tickets
Your membership in the 2009 HRT guarantees you
tickets to the hottest game in town! HRT members will receive tickets to
select games throughout the SWB Yankees season at PNC Field!
Broad-based Community Exposure
Our HRT sponsors enjoy exclusive opportunities
to maximize community exposure through special arrangements with the Yankees
organization all season long.
Corporate Philanthropy
In addition to these exclusive, members-only
benefits, HRT sponsors enjoy the added knowledge that their support benefits
the United Way right here in our community to make a difference in the lives
of individuals and families in need. Talk
about a win-win situation!!
