  Day of Caring

The United Way's Day of Caring has been an annual tradition of caring since 1994 and has grown to be the premiere volunteer effort in our community with the value of completed projects surpassing the $1 million mark!

Day of Caring is held each year in September as the unofficial kickoff to the United Way's annual campaign. Each year, hundreds of area people roll up their sleeves and make a difference by working with the United Way and one of our partner agencies for the day.

Volunteer teams are comprised of employees, students, teachers, business and government leaders and other community-minded citizens. The volunteer projects include landscaping, painting, cleaning, maintenance, revitalization, client interaction and scores of other critical tasks to benefit the local organizations making a difference in our community every day!

This year's Day of Caring is Thursday, September 1. For more information, please contact Nikki Keller at 570.343.1267 x237 or email her.
