During Cold Weather Months
During the cold weather months, it is the
responsibility of the entire community to help ensure the safety
of those most in need. You can join in this effort
by keeping an
eye on your neighbors. Do you live by an elderly individual or someone
who is physically challenged or chronically ill? Simply by periodically
checking on your friends and neighbors, you can provide a great service
to those in need and help to prevent a potentially life-threatening
disaster.Energy Assistance in Pennsylvania is provided primarily through
the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program most commonly
referred
to as LIHEAP. For the regular or "Cash" part of the program you
can pick up an application at any County Assistance Office.
