Each year
community-minded
employers loan
one or more of
their employees
to the United
Way of
Lackawanna
County to
participate in
the
Loaned
Employee
Program. When
your
organization
sends an
employee to our
LE Program, it's
a win-win for
you, your
employee, the
United Way and
the community!!
What is
the Loaned
Employee
program?
Each year, local
companies
committed to
making a
tangible
difference to
our community,
"loan" employees
to work for the
United Way from
September
through
November. With
training and
support from the
United Way
staff, these
dynamic
individuals help
develop and
implement
workplace
campaigns.
What are
the benefits to
the company?
Participation in
the LE program
helps you invest
in the growth
and development
of your
employees while
at the same time
demonstrating a
high level of
corporate
philanthropy to
strengthen our
community. As a
participating
company, you
will enjoy such
benefits as:
-
Increased
visibility
of your
company and
public
recognition
of your
commitment
to the
community.
-
New skill sets for returning employees
-
Employees
networking
on your
company's
behalf
-
Employees
have
enhanced
knowledge
base to run
effective
internal
campaigns.
What are
the benefits to
the employee?

skills from
their experience
with the United
Way that benefit
them both
personally and
professionally
when they return
to your company.
The benefits
include:
-
Enhanced
leadership
skills

Personal
development

of the most
important

perspectives,
skills and
interests, these
ambitious
individuals form
